This summer, Master Your Garden Demonstration Faire will be during Linn County Fair, in our own updated and continually evolving demonstration garden located on the fairgrounds property.  From the OSU Extension table in the Willamette Hall, follow the floor signage out to the demonstration garden.  

We will have garden topical 'Master Your Garden' demonstration tables and activities 

You can also walk through our demonstration garden and see all the plant growth in our new beds: seasonal vegetables and herbs, a therapeutic garden, herbal tea garden, a Kin Cultivate traditional southern vegetable garden, a summer vegetable bed planted and maintained by the OSU Extension Veteran's gardening program and so much more.

Hands-on Demonstrations

This is a hands-on gardening demonstration event.  There will be multiple summer gardening topics 

  • Season by Season pollinator plants

  • Learn how to adapt your garden with our accessible raised beds and tools to accommodate physical challenges

  • Planting a fall vegetable garden

  • Learn how to keep bugs off your veggies

We are able to bring this event to you free of charge due to the support of OSU Extension Linn County, Master Gardeners of Linn County, our community partnership with the Linn County Fair & Expo Center, Linn County Soil & Water Conservation, and many more.

Master Your Garden Summer 2025 is being held at the Linn County Fairgrounds inside as well as out in our Demonstration Garden.

  • Vegetable gardens planted based on local food banks input of most requested vegetables
