'Whispers of the Night Garden'

Each year, the Linn County Master Gardener's Association Pollinator Project team selects content and speakers to bring up-to-date research to you, covering all aspects of pollination.  From pollinators to plants, threats and beneficial insects, pollinator habitats, and any new topics we hear about from our scientific community, our goal is to enable you to learn how to support pollinators for a sustainable future.

Why Attend?

  • David Kollen:  Dave is a Xerces Society Ambassador and in that role is involved in educational and outreach work. Additionally he is an Oregon Master Naturalist and Master Melittologist Apprentice.

  • Leah Puhlman, OSU Master Gardener:  Leah Puhlman teaches for the award-winning 10-Minute University™ program. She has a Platinum Certified Backyard Habitat and is an advocate for native bees and bird-friendly gardens.

  • Dana Ross, OSU:  Oversees the Siskiyou Crest Moth Project for the Siskiyou Crest Coalition.  

  • Thomas Rodhouse, OSU: Co-directs the Human & Ecosystem Resilience & Sustainability (HERS) Lab and the Lab’s Northwestern Hub for Bat Population Research & Monitoring.
